The ninth “Quantico” episode continued the ABC series’ streak of generating massive gains from time-shifted viewing.
On a percentage basis, the episode posted network television’s biggest viewership gain in the weekly Nielsen Live+7 ratings report. Its adults 18-49 gain tied for first.
Per the Live + 7 report, which accounts for the live broadcast and the subsequent seven days of time-shifted viewing, the November 29 “Quantico” drew a 2.7 adults 18-49 rating and 8.302 million total viewers.
The numbers best those posted in the live+same-day report (1.2, 4.072 million) by 125% and 104%, respectively.
Of the network shows that aired during the November 23-29 broadcast week, only FOX’s “Scream Queens” matched the adults 18-49 lift. No show enjoyed as great a gain in total viewership.
On a Live+7 basis, the 11/24 “Scream Queens” drew a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating and 3.948 million total viewers. Those episodes top the live+same-day performance (0.8, 1.983 million), which ranked as a series low, by 125% and 99%, respectively.
The “Scream Queens” episode, which ties for greatest gainer in adults 18-49, is the second-greatest percentage gainer in total viewership.
