While formal radio promotion has not yet begun, Selena Gomez’ “Hands To Myself” ventured into the limelight this past week.
A video teaser/commercial for the song — featuring Gomez in lingerie — made waves on Monday, December 7. Gomez also performed the song during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which aired on the night of Tuesday, December 8.
In conjunction with that exposure, “Hands To Myself” began to attract early airplay at the pop radio format.
The “Revival” track received 138 pop spins during the December 6-12 tracking week. The count positions “Hands To Myself” as the Mediabase pop panel’s #70 song.
At the moment, “Same Old Love” continues to represent Gomez’ official single. The song rises one place to #3 on this week’s pop chart; it also moves inside the Top 20 at rhythmic and Hot AC radio.
