Comedy Central’s “Nathan For You” Renewed For Season 4

On November 30, comedian Nathan Fielder noted that there were only “two episodes of ‘Nathan For You’ left” (12/3 and 12/10). In two separate Tweets, he referred to the December 10 episode as a “finale.”

While he did not outright reveal a cancellation, the lack of a “season finale” descriptor made fans nervous about the show’s future.

Those nerves can ease; ahead of the broadcast, Comedy Central has confirmed a fourth season of “Nathan For You.” Thursday’s episode will indeed be a mere season finale.

“I couldn’t be more excited to continue my non-sexual relationship with Viacom,” said Fielder.

While not a ratings force, “Nathan For You” has performed consistently over the past several weeks. It has also been generating considerable critical acclaim.

Comedy Central did not confirm a premiere date for the upcoming fourth season. The third season wraps with Thursday’s finale. Featuring limited commercial interruptions, the episode finds Nathan engaging in the series’ “most ambitious project yet.”
