Hosted by Ryan Gosling and featuring musical guest Leon Bridges, this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” could not match the performance of the previous episode.
It did, however, slightly outperform the November 14 edition.
Per Nielsen metered market data, the Gosling-Bridges episode drew a 4.1 overnight household rating. Down from the 4.6 rating posted by the previous episode, which featured host Matthew McConaughey and musical guest Adele and aired on November 21, the number narrowly tops that of the November 14 broadcast.
Featuring Elizabeth Banks and Disclosure (with Lorde and Sam Smith), that episode drew a 4.0.
This week’s “SNL” drew a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating in the Top 25, local people meter markets. That trails the 2.3 drawn by the McConaughey-Adele episode but bests the 1.9 posted by the Banks-Disclosure edition.
“SNL” returns next week with host Chris Hemsworth and musical guest Chance The Rapper.
