Breaking Benjamin’s “Diary of Jane” Certified 2X Platinum; “I Will Not Bow,” “Breath” Platinum

Late last month, active rock band Breaking Benjamin received a handful of RIAA certifications.

The most notable certification went to “The Diary of Jane.” The band’s most recognizable single was officially certified 2x platinum under the RIAA’s digital singles program.

The 2x platinum honor confirms a US unit total of at least 2 million. One unit equals one paid download or 100 streams.

As it had not been previously certified, “Jane” retroactively received gold and platinum honors.

Singles “I Will Not Bow” and “Breath” received platinum honors in late November (1 million units), while “Give Me A Sign” and “Blow Me Away” went gold (500,000).

Not previously certified, “I Will Not Bow” and “Breath” retroactively received gold distinctions.
