Ratings Update: The CW’s “iZombie” Improves, “The Flash” Rises in Viewership

Final Ratings Update: Tuesday’s “iZombie” and “The Flash” both rose to season highs in total viewership. The former also enjoyed an uptick in adults 18-49.

Per Nielsen final data, “iZombie” drew a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating and 1.547 million total viewers. The numbers top the 0.5 rating and 1.174 million viewership mark drawn by the previous episode.

The viewership total represents a season high.

Lead-in “The Flash” achieved a 1.4 rating and reached 3.937 million total viewers. The rating matches that of the previous episode, while the viewership total improves upon that broadcast’s 3.458 million mark.

The viewership total, moreover, represents a season high — and the best for a “The Flash” episode since February.

After taking Thanksgiving Week off, The CW’s “iZombie” and “The Flash” returned with originals this week.

Based on preliminary data, the former posted gains in adults 18-49 and total viewership. The latter rose in viewers.

Per Nielsen fast national data, Tuesday’s “iZombie” drew a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating and 1.581 million total viewers. The numbers best the 0.5 rating and series low 1.174 million viewership total posted on November 17.

“The Flash,” which aired the first part of a crossover event with “Arrow,” posted a 1.4 and reached 3.861 million viewers. The 1.4 rating matches that of the previous broadcast; the viewership number was up from that episode’s 3.458 million mark.
