Disney Channel’s top-performing series will be back for another season. The network confirmed Wednesday that its “Girl Meets World” has scored a third season renewal.
Set for a spring 2016 bow, the third season will follow the leads as they enter high school.
The renewal is not surprising. In addition to regularly generating buzz, “Girl Meets World” is the most-watched original series currently airing on a youth-oriented cable network.
It, moreover, is one of the year’s top five cable series with kids 2-11 and tweens 9-14.
“Michael Jacobs has one of the most authentic voices in television today,” said Disney’s Adam Bonnett. “He and the entire ‘Girl Meets World’ team will not only continue to entertain families but also help kids discover who they are and who they want to be in this world.”
