Jason Aldean Reaches Top 5 at Country Radio; Thomas Rhett Enters Top 10

Whether one looks at the Billboard Country Airplay or Mediabase country radio singles chart, he will now find Jason Aldean’s “Gonna Know We Were Here” inside the Top 5.

The same is true when it comes to Thomas Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man” being inside the Top 10.

Up two places, “Gonna Know We Were Here” takes #5 on this week’s Billboard Country Airplay chart. It received 41.833 million audience impressions during the official tracking week (+3.671 million).

Aldean’s tune makes the same 7-5 leap on Mediabase. Its position is attributable to a weekly Mediabase point total of 23,678 (+2,303). It also received 7,392 weekly Mediabase-monitored plays (+757) and 52.598 million weekly Mediabase-monitored impressions (+4.461 million).

“Die A Happy Man,” which is only in its ninth week on the chart, elevates from #11 to #10 on this week’s Billboard listing. It received 31.961 million weekly impressions (+4.396 million).

Rhett’s hit ballad enjoys the same 11-10 rise on Mediabase. The new Top 10 position comes on the strength of 17,846 weekly chart points (+2,186). It also received 5,468 weekly Mediabase-monitored spins (+614) and 40.509 million weekly Mediabase-monitored impressions (+5.782 million).
