NBC’s Monday programs both suffered week-to-week losses in the key adults 18-49 demographic.
Both, nonetheless, cruised to victory (among broadcast programs) in their respective timeslots.
10PM drama “Blindspot,” which has already been renewed for the 2016-17 season, posted a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating and reached 7.736 million total viewers. Last week’s drew a 2.2 adults 18-49 with 7.673 million.
Despite the decline, “Blindspot” dominated timeslot rivals “NCIS: LA” (1.3) and “Castle” (1.1) in the key demographic. It narrowly trailed “NCIS: LA” (7.911 million) in total viewership.
Among adults 18-49, it was the night’s #1 scripted program and #3 overall program (behind only Monday Night Football and “The Voice”).
Flagship lead-in “The Voice” averaged a 3.0 rating and 11.208 million total viewers from 8-10PM. Last week’s episode scored a 3.2 with 12.016 million total viewers.
“The Voice” nonetheless dominated its broadcast timeslot rivals in adults 18-49. Among broadcast programs, it trailed only “Dancing With The Stars” (1.8, 12.351 million) in total viewership.
