While each “American Horror Story: Hotel” episode has suffered a week-to-week loss in live+same-day viewership, the FX series remains a behemoth by cable standards.
Immensely resonant with DVR users, the current “Hotel” season thus far represents the highest-rated and most-watched “Horror Story” installment on a live+3 basis.
It should come as no surprise, therefore, that FX has ordered a sixth season of the popular anthology series.
Details – such as which repertory cast members or returning or where and when the season will be set — have not yet emerged. What is definitive, however, is that “AHS” will be back for the 2016-17 television season.

You could not ask more of an artist, their team or a series and with every new installment they deliver.”
FX has thus far aired five episodes of its ongoing “Hotel” season.
