While it cedes its throne on the pop airplay chart, Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” remains the #1 song at the hot adult contemporary format.
Spun ~7,176 times during the November 1-7 tracking week (+92), “Wildest Dreams” spends a third week atop Mediabase’s Hot AC airplay chart.
“Wildest Dreams” is concurrently #2 on the pop chart and now inside the Top 5 on the adult contemporary listing. It holds at Top 25 spot at rhythmic.
Elle King’s “Ex’s and Oh’s” removes some distance this week, but it remains beneath “Wildest Dreams” at Hot AC. It repeats as the format’s #2 song courtesy its ~6,994 tracking week spins (+358).
X Ambassadors’ former #1 “Renegades” holds at #3 (~6,300, -215), while Meghan Trainor’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You (featuring John Legend)” (#4, +1 | ~6,052, +404) and R. City’s “Locked Away (featuring Adam Levine)” (#5, -1 | ~5,586, -622) complete the Top 5.
The Top 5 features a positional switch between the Trainor and R. City songs, but it does not welcome a new arrival this week.
The Top 10 does.
New to the Hot AC chart’s Top 10 is Adele’s “Hello,” which rises four places to #7. The song, which is surely on its way to #1, received ~5,023 weekly plays (+1,776).
Like the Swift song, it concurrently advances into the Top 5 on the AC listing. It is also now inside the Top 15 at pop radio.
