Ratings: NBC’s “Heroes Reborn” Rises This Week, “The Blacklist” Slips

For the first time this season, NBC’s “Heroes Reborn” enjoyed week-over-week gains in both adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Per Nielsen Live+Same-Day Data, Thursday’s “Heroes” drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating with 3.975 million total viewers. Both numbers top those of the previous week’s broadcast, which scored a 1.0 rating and reached 3.946 million audience members.

This week’s episode was the first to air without competition from CBS’ Thursday Night Football coverage; the game airs as an exclusive on the lower-rated NFL Network for the rest of the season.

It did, however, face competition from CBS’ flagship “The Big Bang Theory” (3.7, 14.811 million) in its first half-hour.

— The transformed competitive sphere did not, however, aid this week’s “The Blacklist.” Thursday’s edition of the NFL drama posted a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating with 6.436 million total viewers. Last week’s managed a 1.5 with 7.029 million.

— “The Blacklist” led into “The Player,” which drew a 0.7 and reached 3.220 million total viewers. The previous episode drew the same 0.7 but garnered a stronger 3.867 million viewership mark
