Gwen Stefani’s “Used to Love You” Ranks as Hot AC Radio’s Most-Added Song

While Gwen Stefani’s “Used To Love You” scored a healthy 28 hot adult contemporary adds in conjunction with last week’s radio impact, it was upstaged by Adele’s “Hello” and its monstrous 84 weekly pickups.

This week, the two songs switch places. “Used To Love You” ranks as the hot adult contemporary format’s most-added song, while Adele’s blockbuster new release grabs #2 on the weekly add board.

“Used To Love You” scores the most-added honor thanks to pickups from 22 Mediabase-monitored Hot AC stations. Adele’s “Hello” won support from an additional 20 stations this week.

Both songs have already begun to soar up the format’s airplay chart. “Hello” was this past week’s #11 song, while “Used To Love You” is #30. The new support will help the songs continue their climbs.

Picked up by 15 stations, Zella Day’s “Hypnotic” follows as third-most-added. Each added by 12 monitored Hot AC stations, Alessia Cara’s “Here,” Ellie Goulding’s “On My Mind,” and Fall Out Boy’s “Irresistible (featuring Demi Lovato)” tie for fourth.
