Ratings Update: The CW’s “iZombie” Rises in Demo, Falls in Viewership

Final Ratings Update: Tuesday’s “iZombie,” which was the fourth of the second season, enjoyed a week-over-week gain in adults 18-49 but suffered a loss in total viewership.

Per final Nielsen data, Tuesday’s episode drew a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating with 1.47 million viewers. The previous week’s broadcast drew a weaker 0.5 adults 18-49 rating but a slightly stronger 1.51 million viewership total.

The CW led into “iZombie” with “The Flash.” Tuesday’s episode drew a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating with 3.43 million viewers; last week’s managed the same 1.4 rating but a slightly stronger viewership total of 3.49 million.
==================

While a downward adjustment in the final ratings report is possible, preliminary data reflects a week-over-week increase for The CW’s “iZombie.”

Per Nielsen fast national data, Tuesday’s “iZombie” drew a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating with 1.505 million viewers. Both numbers top those of the previous week’s broadcast, which scored a 0.5 with 1.285 million.

The same fast national data reflects a slight loss for “The Flash.” The show, which posted a 1.4 with 3.491 million viewers last week, drew a 1.3 with 3.317 million viewers for this week’s episode.

“The Flash” has often received a slight upward adjustment in finals, while “iZombie” has historically endured a slight setback. Given the possibility of such adjustments, one should hold off on celebrating the “iZombie” performance or condemning the “Flash” showing.

Final data will be available by 6PM ET.
