Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” Also Ranks as Rhythmic’s Most-Added; Adele, Selena Gomez Follow

Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” this week’s most-added song at pop radio, also claims the top spot on the rhythmic format’s add board.

It received adds from 27 Mediabase-monitored rhythmic stations.

As the follow-up to Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?,” which reached #1 at pop radio and currently holds a Top 5 position at rhythmic, “Sorry” has big shoes to fill. The impressive opening week support will prove helpful in its campaign to fill those shoes.

Adele’s “Hello,” which trailed “Sorry” on the pop add board, does the same on the rhythmic listing. Rhythmic radio’s second-most-added song received 17 weekly pickups.

Picked up by 11 Mediabase-monitored stations, Selena Gomez’ “Same Old Love” takes third-most-added at rhythmic. While this week marked the song’s official rhythmic radio impact, it had already reached the Top 40 on the airplay chart.

It is currently inside the Top 15 at pop.

Adrian Marcel’s “Take Your Time” follows as fourth-most-added. The Sam Hunt cover received adds from 10 monitored stations. A weekly total of 9 pickups earns DeJ Loaf’s “Back Up (featuring Big Sean)” the week’s fifth-most-added ranking.

Other popular rhythmic options: Dawin’s “Dessert (featuring Silento)” (7 adds, 6th-most-added, tie), Flo Rida’s “My House” (7 adds, 6th, tie), Tinashe’s “Player (featuring Chris Brown)” (7 adds, 6th, tie), The Game’s “Don’t Trip” (6 adds, 9th, tie), iLoveMemphis’ “Hit The Quan” (6 adds, 9th, tie), Jeezy’s “Sweet Life (featuring Janelle Monae)” (6 adds, 9th, tie), Lil Dicky’s “$ave Dat Money (featuring Fetty Wap & Rich Homie Quan)” (6 adds, 9th, tie), Tory Lanez’ “Say It” (6 adds, 9th, tie), and Travi$ Scott’s “Antidote” (6 adds, 9th, tie).
