Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” Crosses the 1 Million US Sales Mark

Already platinum based on its combination of US sales and streaming units, Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” this past week crossed the 1 million pure sales mark.

According to Nielsen Music, “What Do You Mean?” sold 68,457 US downloads during the official October 16-22 tracking week. Enough for #7 on the Digital Songs chart, the tally brought the “What Do You Mean?” cumulative total to 1,034,281.

The lead single from “Purpose,” “What Do You Mean?” remains a force at radio. Attention is, however, beginning to turn to follow-up “Sorry,” which this week debuted at #34 on Mediabase’s pop airplay chart.

“Purpose” arrives on November 13.
