Demi Lovato’s “Confident,” Fall Out Boy’s “Irresistible” Reach Hot AC’s Top 50; Weeknd Also Rises

Two songs involving Demi Lovato blast into the Top 50 at hot adult contemporary radio.

Spun 310 times during the October 18-24 tracking, Lovato’s new single “Confident” ranks as the Mediabase Hot AC panel’s #42 song. The single, which is the title track from Lovato’s new album and the follow-up to her Top 15 hit “Cool For The Summer,” held the #61 ranking last week.

Fall Out Boy’s “Irresistible,” which features Lovato, also scores a Top 50 ranking this week.

Up twenty five places, “Irresistible” rises forty six places to #44. The song, which is the follow-up to the band’s #3-peaking “Uma Thurman,” received 261 weekly plays (+240).

Also new to the Top 50: Adele’s “Hello” and The Weeknd’s “The Hills.”

The former debuts at #25 on the strength of its 1,037 tracking week spins. The latter rises six places to #49 thanks to its 202 weekly plays (+29).
