Breaking Benjamin’s “Angels Fall” Claims #1 at Rock Radio; Bring Me The Horizon Top 5

The second single from Breaking Benjamin’s “Dark Before Dawn” is also the second to reach #1 on Mediabase’s active rock airplay chart.

A tracking week spin total of ~1,951 (+222) allows Breaking Benjamin’s “Angels Fall” to follow in the chart-topping footsteps of predecessor “Failure.”

“Angels Fall,” which was #3 on last week’s edition of the chart, seizes the active rock throne from Red Sun Rising’s “The Otherside.” Spun ~1,870 times during the October 18-24 tracking period (+35), that track drops to #2 on this week’s chart.

Chris Cornell’s “Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart” (#3, +1 | ~1,536, +13), Pop Evil’s “Footsteps” (#4, -2 | ~1,485, -333) and Bring Me The Horizon’s “Throne” (#5, +2 | ~1,447, +141) complete the Top 5.

BMTH’s “Throne” is making its inaugural Top 5 appearance.
