Ratings Update: “iZombie” Premiere Tops S1 Finale; “The Flash” Draws 3.6M

Final Ratings Update: Tuesday’s season two “iZombie” premiere drew a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating with 1.53 million viewers.

It topped both the season one finale (0.5 adults 18-49 rating with 1.45 million viewers) and the last season one episode to air out of an original “The Flash” (0.6 adults 18-49 rating with 1.50 million viewers).

Tuesday’s “The Flash” season premiere, meanwhile, posted a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating with 3.584
million viewers. Both numbers trail those of the season one finale, which scored a 1.5 with 3.87 million viewers.
==================================
Tuesday’s “iZombie,” which represented the second season premiere, bested the first season finale in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Per fast national data, this week’s episode drew a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating with 1.704 million viewers. The aforementioned S1 finale scored a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating with 1.45 million.

Of note is the fact that this week’s “iZombie,” unlike the season one finale, aired out of an original edition of The CW’s “The Flash.” A more relevant point of comparison, therefore, may be the May 19, 2015 “iZombie,” which aired out of the season one “Flash” finale.

This week’s episode still wins in that regard. The 5/19 “iZombie” drew a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating with 1.50 million viewers.

— On the subject of “The Flash,” Tuesday’s season two premiere drew a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating with 3.423 million viewers. The season one finale managed a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating with 3.87 million.

First season “The Flash” episodes often received upward adjustments in the final broadcast ratings report. It remains to be seen if that trend will continue in season two.
