Selena Gomez’ “Good For You” Tops Pop Airplay Chart For Third Week

Last week, “Good For You (featuring A$AP Rocky)” became the first Selena Gomez song to score a second week atop Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart.

This week, it becomes the first to achieve a three-week reign.

Thanks to the combination of its own airplay loss and a big gain for R. City’s “Locked Away (featuring Adam Levine),” this week’s margin of victory was not substantial.

It was a margin of victory nonetheless.

“Good For You” received ~16,743 plays during the official September 20-26 tracking week. That trails last week’s mark by a hefty 1,065 spins, but it still ranks as the format’s best.

The aforementioned “Locked Away,” which surges two places to #2, received ~16,319 tracking week spins. That count bests last week’s by whopping 2,061 plays.

Barring a massive twist of fate, “Locked Away” will go #1 on next week’s chart. This week’s chart, however, features Selena Gomez’ “Good For You” in the top spot.

Demi Lovato’s “Cool For The Summer” (#3, = | ~14,271, -572), Ed Sheeran’s “Photograph” (#4, +2 | ~13,649, -287), and The Weeknd’s “The Hills” (#5, +2 | ~13,333, +2,309) complete the Top 5.

— In addition to “Good For You,” Gomez is also represented on the pop chart by “Same Old Love.” The second “Revival” single earns a Top 30 position this week.
