Empire’s “No Doubt About It” Ranks as Rhythmic Radio’s Most-Added Song

On the eve of the show’s second season premiere, the “Empire” cast earns the most-added distinction at rhythmic radio.

The cast’s “No Doubt About It,” which credits vocalists Jussie Smollett and Pitbull as featured artists, scored adds from a format-leading 18 Mediabase-monitored stations this week. That count gives it the narrow edge over Big Sean’s “Play No Games,” which earned pickups from 16 such stations.

Added by 12 stations, JR Castro’s “Get Home (featuring Kid Ink & Migos)” earns the week’s third-most-added distinction. Tech N9ne’s “No K (featuring E-40 & Krizz Kaliko)” follows with 8 adds, while Flo Rida’s “My House,” K Camp’s “Comfortable” and Nelly’s “The Fix (featuring Jeremih)” all tie for fifth-most-added. Each of the three songs received 7 adds.

Other notable rhythmic options: Alessia Cara’s “Here” (6 adds, 8th-most-added, tie), Drake’s “Hotline Bling” (6 adds, 8th-most-added, tie), and Naughty Boy’s “Runnin (Lose It All) (featuring Beyonce & Arrow Benjamin)” (6 adds, 8th-most-added, tie).

— “No Doubt About It,” which is performed in the third episode of season two, also received adds at pop radio.
