Ratings: “Jessie” Enjoys Big Viewership Gain, “I Didn’t Do It” Also Rises

Last week, Disney Channel’s “Jessie” settled for an underwhelming viewership total of just 1.440 million.

This week, it drew a markedly improved 2.276 million.

Entitled “Katch Kipling,” the episode also enjoyed substantial gains in adults 18-49 and adults 18-34. It posted a 0.45 in the former (up from last week’s 0.27) and a 0.46 in the latter (up from last week’s 0.24).

The improved “Jessie” served as a strong starting point for Disney Channel’s Friday night. The premiere of Disney’s two-minute short series “Descendants: Wicked World” followed with a 0.43 in A18-49, a 0.38 in A18-34, and 2.308 million viewers. “Girl Meets World” then aired to a dramatically improved 0.56 in A18-49, a 0.62 in A18-34, and 2.423 million viewers.

9PM series “I Didn’t Do It” followed with a 0.31 in adults 18-49, a 0.36 in adults 18-34 and a viewership sum of 1.920 million.

While it was Disney Channel’s weakest Friday night performer, it still enjoyed week-over-week gains. Last week’s broadcast posted a 0.27 in adults 18-49, a 0.32 in adults 18-34, and a 1.721 million viewership mark.
