Carrie Underwood’s “Smoke Break” Reaches Country Radio’s Top 10

Last week, Carrie Underwood’s “Smoke Break” entered the Top 15 on the Billboard and Mediabase country radio charts.

This week, it flies into the Top 10.

The lead single from Underwood’s “Storyteller” rises to #9 on this week’s Billboard Country Airplay chart. It improves to #10 on the Mediabase country radio singles chart.

It appeared at #14 and #15 on last week’s editions of those respective charts.

Its new Billboard position comes courtesy its 30.566 million weekly audience impressions. That mark bests last week’s tally by a whopping 5.267 million.

The #10 Mediabase ranking is attributable to the song’s 17,833 weekly Mediabase chart points (+3,215). It also received 5,101 spins (+996) and 35.379 million audience impressions (+5.943 million) from Mediabase’s panel of country stations.

— Chase Rice’s “Gonna Wanna Tonight” also reaches the Top 10 on the Billboard chart. It improves three places to #8 on the strength of its 31.896 million impressions (+3.997 million). The song had already reached the Top 10 on Mediabase and earns #8 on this week’s edition of that chart (+2).

— Florida Georgia Line’s “Anything Goes” is new to the Mediabase Top 10. It rises four places to #7 on the strength of its 19,385 chart points (+2,746). The song, which had already cracked the Top 10 on Billboard, is also #7 on that chart (+2).
