Two songs newly reach the Top 25 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.
Both are alternative radio smashes.
X Ambassadors’ “Renegades,” which spent 11 weeks atop the Mediabase alternative airplay chart, reaches a new peak of #21 on this week’s pop listing. It was #29 last week.
Elle King’s “Ex’s and Oh’s,” which is enjoying its third week at #1 on the alt listing, climbs seven places to #24 at pop.
The former song received ~3,748 plays during the September 13-19 tracking week (+1,219). The latter garnered ~3,219 weekly spins (+1,021).
— While not new to the Top 25, Little Mix’s “Black Magic” re-enters this week. It rises four places to a new peak of #23.
— “Renegades” and “Ex’s and Oh’s” have thus far made an even bigger splash on the hot adult contemporary chart. “Renegades” rises two places to #5 on this week’s Hot AC listing. “Ex’s and Oh’s” advances five places to #10.
