While it obviously had no chance of matching last week’s gigantic add count, Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” still managed to land atop this week’s hot adult contemporary radio add board.
According to Mediabase, “Wildest Dreams” won support from another 16 monitored Hot AC stations this week. That allows it to claim the format’s most-added honor for a second-straight week.
“Love Myself,” the debut single from Swift’s Republic teammate and “Bad Blood” squad member Hailee Steinfeld, follows as second-most-added. It scored support from 11 monitored stations this week.
Jamie Lawson’s “Wasn’t Expecting That,” which is the format’s iHeart “On the Verge” song, narrowly trails as third-most-added. It scored 10 pickups.
Each added by 8 stations, Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” and Walk The Moon’s “Different Colors” tie for fifth-most-added.
Other notable Hot AC options: Major Lazer & DJ Snake’s “Lean On (featuring MØ)” (7 adds, 6th-most-added, tie), R. City’s “Locked Away (featuring Adam Levine)” (7 adds, 6th, tie), U2’s “Song for Someone” (7 adds, 6th, tie), Andy Grammer’s “Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah)” (6 adds, 9th, tie), Duran Duran’s “Pressure Off (featuring Janelle Monae & Nile Rodgers)” (6 adds, 9th, tie), George Ezra’s “Blame It On Me” (6 adds, 9th, tie), Maroon 5’s “Feelings” (6 adds, 9th, tie), and X Ambassadors’ “Renegades” (6 adds, 9th, tie).
