E!’s “WAGS” enjoyed significant week-over-week gains in adults 18-49 and total viewership.
Tuesday’s episode, which was the series’ third broadcast to date, drew a markedly improved 0.39 adults 18-49 rating with 630,000 viewers.
Both numbers comfortably top those of last week’s episode, which scored a 0.15 with 334,000 viewers. They also dramatically exceed the 0.22 A18-49 rating and 477,000 viewership total posted by the previous week’s series premiere.
— E! led into “WAGS” with “Total Divas.” This week’s episode drew a 0.49 adults 18-49 rating with 1.020 million viewers.
The performance represented an improvement from last week’s episode, which drew a 0.39 with 922,000 viewers.
While the improved lead-in support certainly did not hurt matters for “WAGS,” it does not explain entirety of this week’s gain. This week’s “WAGS” enjoyed greater growth — in relative and absolute terms — than this week’s “Total Divas.”
Moreover, this week’s “Total Divas” lead-in actually drew fewer viewers than the August 18 edition that led into the “WAGS” series premiere. This week’s “WAGS,” however, drew considerably more viewers than that August 18 premiere episode.
“WAGS” also outdrew its “Total Divas” lead-in among adults 18-34 (0.61 rating vs. 0.54 rating).
