The Chainsmokers, Armin Van Buuren, Fetty Wap, Major Lazer Enter Pop’s Top 60

Insofar as they either literally or effectively debuted during the August 23-29 tracking week, Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” (#27), Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Downtown” (#30), and Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” (#31) all make inaugural Top 60 appearances on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Fifth Harmony’s “I’m In Love With a Monster” also reaches that threshold at pop radio.

As do an additional four singles.

The highest-ranking of the group is The Chainsmokers’ “Roses (featuring Rozes).” Spun 347 times during the official tracking week (+194), it reaches the #54 position. It was #69 last week.

Armin Van Buuren’s “Another You (featuring Mr Probz)” also makes the leap this week. Up six places, it grabs #57 on the strength of 306 weekly plays (+85).

Fetty Wap’s multi-format offering “679 (featuring Remy Boyz)” becomes the pop panel’s #59 song this week. Up nine places, it scored 281 weekly plays (+105).

Major Lazer’s “Powerful (featuring Ellie Goulding)” is the final Top 60 addition. Spun 245 times (+103), it rises ten places to #60.
