Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Run Away With Me” Likely Done at Pop Radio

It appears Interscope’s radio promotions team is done promoting Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Run Away With Me” at US pop radio.

The song, which suffered a slight week-over-week airplay loss during the August 23-29 tracking week, is no longer listed on Interscope’s radio promotions playbook. The removal strongly suggests the song will no longer receive a formal push at the format.

Despite receiving widespread critical acclaim, the track had seemingly reached a brick wall at the Top 50 mark. After rising to #50 on last week’s chart (albeit with a discouragingly slight airplay gain), it slips to #51 on this week’s listing.

“Run Away With Me” received 568 plays during the August 23-29 tracking week. That trails last week’s count by 21 plays.

“Run Away With Me” is the second single from CRJ’s “E-MO-TION.” The album debuted with a modest first week sales total.
