Ratings: TNT’s “Public Morals” Premiere Draws 2.14 Million Viewers

Tuesday’s “Public Morals” premiere reached a total of 2.143 million live+same-day viewers.

Predictably old-skewing, the TNT drama’s inaugural episode found its greatest success with viewers over the age of 50.

Its performance within core advertising demographics helps to further illustrate the older skew. While it managed a 0.45 adults 25-54 rating (a modest figure in and of itself), it scored a mere 0.28 in adults 18-49 and a downright weak 0.13 in adults 18-34.

Moving forward, TNT will make the episodes available for on-demand streaming six days prior to their actual broadcast date. It will be interesting to see how the strategy affects L+SD ratings.
