Rita Ora & Chris Brown’s “Body On Me” Rockets Into Top 40 at Rhythmic Radio

Fueled by the format’s second-greatest weekly spin gain, Rita Ora’s “Body On Me (featuring Chris Brown)” surges into the Top 40 on this week’s Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart.

Spun 926 times during the August 16-22 tracking week, “Body” soars to #31 on this week’s chart. It was last week’s #48 song.

This week’s spin total bests last week’s by a whopping 512 plays; only The Weeknd’s #6 “The Hills” (#815) enjoyed a greater week-over-week gain.

Ora’s “Body On Me” is being supported by the iHeartRadio “On the Verge” program. Under the terms of that program, “Body on Me” receives guaranteed airplay from the iHeartMedia network of rhythmic stations.

— Also new to the rhythmic Top 40: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Growing Up (featuring Ed Sheeran)” (#30, +13), Alessia Cara’s “Here” (#33, +8) and Nico & Vinz’ “That’s How You Know (featuring Bebe Rexha and Kid Ink)” (#40, +2).
