Following up on a teaser that appeared in last week’s Country Aircheck, Arista Nashville confirms that Carrie Underwood will be making a special announcement on August 20.
Per a label press release, Underwood will share the news on her Facebook page at 5PM ET. After making the announcement, she will answer live questions from fans.
Underwood will also appear on that day’s edition of the syndicated “Entertainment Tonight.”
While the label’s press release only identifies the news as a “special announcement,” most are under the impression that Underwood will be sharing details about a new single. She was recently photographed on what appeared to be a music video set.
