The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” Claims #1 on Hot 100; Major Lazer’s “Lean On” Goes Top 5

Much like the Mediabase pop airplay chart, Billboard’s all-encompassing Hot 100 features The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” at #1 and Major Lazer’s “Lean On (featuring DJ Snake & MØ)” at #5.

The former song seizes the throne from OMI’s “Cheerleader.” That song, which spent four weeks at #1, slips to #2 on this week’s chart.

In accordance with its #1 Hot 100 position, “Face” grabs #1 on Radio Songs (152M impressions), slips to #2 on Digital Songs (134,000) and reaches #4 on Streaming Songs (15.4M streams).

One Direction’s “Drag Me Down,” Silento’s “Watch Me” and the aforementioned “Lean On” complete the Top 5.

Like One Direction’s debuting “Drag,” “Lean On” makes its inaugural appearance in the Top 5. It was #6 on last week’s chart.

This week’s peak Hot 100 position comes in conjunction with a #5 position on Radio Songs (99M impressions), a #7 position on Streaming Songs (11.6M streams) and a #9 position on Digital Songs (71,000).

The remaining Top 10 positions are as follows:

6) Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood (featuring Kendrick Lamar)”
7) Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song”
8) Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again (featuring Charlie Puth)”
9) Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen”
10) Fetty Wap’s “My Way (featuring Monty)”
