Robert DeLong’s “Don’t Wait Up,” Halsey’s “New Americana” Enter Top 25 at Alt Radio

The latest Robert DeLong and Halsey singles are officially inside the Top 25 at alternative radio.

“Don’t Wait Up,” the latest single from DeLong’s forthcoming “In the Cards,” rises three places to a new peak of #24 on this week’s Mediabase alternative airplay chart. It received ~668 spins during the August 2-8 tracking week (+79).

Halsey’s rapidly climbing “New Americana” follows at #25. Up four places from last week’s mark, it received ~606 weekly spins (+153).

Thanks to its strong support from major market stations, “New Americana” continues to rank disproportionately well from an audience standpoint. While its airplay total was the weeks 25th-greatest, its weekly audience impression total of ~2.511 million ranks at #14.

“New Americana” appears on Halsey’s forthcoming debut “Badlands.”

— While not new to the Top 25, Glass Animals’ “Black Mambo” re-enters that portion of the chart this week. It rises three places to #23.
