Future’s “DS2” Actually Debuted with 126K First Week Sales

For a third straight week, Nielsen Music revised its album sales data.

This week, the revision resulted in an upward shift for Future’s “DS2.” The album, which Nielsen originally said moved 121,000 first-week units, actually sold 126,000 copies during the July 17-23 tracking week.

The total easily scores “DS2” the top spot on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart.

With Track Equivalent Albums (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and Streaming Equivalent Albums (1500 single streams = 1 album sale) included, the album posts a first-week consumption total of 151,000 units. That earns the album a #1 bow on the Billboard 200.
