The Struts’ “Could Have Been Me” Goes Top 10 at Alt Radio; AWOLNATION Hits Top 20

The Struts’ “Could Have Been Me,” which reaches the Top 15 on this week’s active rock airplay chart, reaches the Top 10 on the Mediabase alternative listing.

Spun 1,312 times during the July 19-25 tracking week (+150), “Could Have Been Me” enjoys a four place lift to #10. Its week-over-week spin gain of 150 was the alternative format’s third-greatest; only Cold War Kids’ #6 “First” (+240) and Elle King’s #5 “Ex’s and Oh’s” (+225) enjoyed greater weekly lifts.

“Could Have Been Me” is the week’s lone addition to the Top 10. One song does, however, reach the Top 20.

AWOLNATION’s “I Am,” that song, enjoys a three place lift to #18. The track received 863 tracking week spins (+128). Along with Halsey’s #33 “New Americana,” which also enjoyed a 128-spin lift, it ranks as the alternative format’s fourth-greatest gainer.
