Brantley Gilbert’s “One Hell of an Amen” Officially Goes #1 at Country Radio

Powered by another mammoth week-over-week spin gain, Brantley Gilbert’s “One Hell of an Amen” officially claims #1 on this week’s Mediabase country radio singles chart.

The race was close, but Gilbert’s tune ultimately generated enough Mediabase chart points to edge Jason Aldean’s “Tonight Looks Good on You.” That song, which topped last week’s chart, slips to #2 on this week’s listing.

In addition to claiming the most Mediabase chart points, “Amen” also accumulated the most weekly spins. The song received ~8,397 plays during the July 19-25 tracking window (+998).

“Tonight Looks Good On You” received fewer plays (~8,324 | -6) but did reach a larger audience than “One Hell of an Amen.” While Gilbert’s single garnered ~56.380 million weekly audience impressions, Aldean’s accumulated a weekly total of ~56.528 million.

Michael Ray’s #3 “Kiss You in the Morning,” Luke Bryan’s #4 “Kick the Dust Up” and Zac Brown Band’s #5 “Loving You Easy” complete Mediabase’s weekly Top 5. The latter two songs are new to that portion of the chart.
