Halsey’s “New Americana” Arrives on Bubbling Under Hot 100 Chart

Halsey’s heavily hyped “New Americana,” which officially impacts the alternative radio format this week, is Bubbling Under the Billboard Hot 100.

Thanks to the opening week sales and streams it amassed between July 10 and 16 and the early airplay it scored between July 13 and 19, “New Americana” earns the #22 position on this week’s Bubbling Under chart.

The chart lists the Top 25 songs that have yet to appear on the actual Billboard Hot 100.

“New Americana” is cut from Halsey’s forthcoming album “Badlands.” While mainstream visibility is new for the young singer-songwriter, the combination of immense buzz and passionate fan support is expected to result in a strong first week sales total.

Other new additions to the “Bubbling Under” chart:

3) Tyrese – Shame
7) Dan + Shay – Nothin’ Like You
10) Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness – Cecilia and the Satellite
12) Brothers Osborne – Stay a Little Longer
13) Kenny Chesney – Save it for a Rainy Day
14) Jason Derulo – Cheyenne
24) Bea Miller – Fire N Gold
25) R. City – Locked Away ft. Adam Levine
