The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” Hits #1 at Rhythmic Radio, OMI, Kid Ink Go Top 5

Last week, The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” rocketed into the Top 5 on Mediabase’s rhythmic radio airplay chart.

This week, it ascends to the #1 spot.

Spun ~6,218 times during the July 12-18 tracking week (+1,089), the multi-format blockbuster surges two places to the chart’s apex. Its spin gain of 1,089 is the rhythmic radio format’s greatest weekly gain.

In addition to holding the #1 spot at rhythmic radio, “Face” is also #4 at pop radio, #12 at hot adult contemporary radio and #27 at adult contemporary radio.

As far as the rhythmic format goes, Jidenna’s previously leader “Classic Man” slips to #2 this week. The song received ~5,661 tracking week spins (-139).

David Guetta’s “Hey Mama (featuring Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha and Afrojack),” which received ~5,444 spins (-58), falls one place to #3.

Up three places and one place, respectively, OMI’s “Cheerleader” and Kid Ink’s “Be Real (featuring DeJ Loaf)” enter the Top 5 this week. “Cheerleader” reaches #4 on the strength of its ~5,178 weekly spins (+853), while “Be Real” hits #5 courtesy ~4,832 weekly plays (+340).
