While “Can’t Feel My Face” is the singer-songwriter’s true radio single, The Weeknd’s “The Hills” continues to drive paid downloads at a brisk pace.
When the extended June 29-July 9 tracking week reached its conclusion, that US paid download count exceeded 500,000.
According to Nielsen Music, “The Hills” moved approximately 139,000 copies during the eleven days between June 29 and July 9. That brought the song’s cumulative US sales total to roughly 535,000.
Six thousand shy of the 500,000 mark when the July 9 tracking week concluded, the aforementioned “Can’t Feel My Face” definitely entered that territory during the more recent July 10-16 tracking period. Official data from that tracking cycle will be available in the coming days.
