Of Monsters and Men, U2 Reach Hot AC’s Top 50; Pitbull, The Rua Go Top 60

Of Monsters and Men’s alternative crossover effort “Crystals” continues to make moves at hot adult contemporary radio.

This week, its upward mobility results in a Top 50 position.

Spun 180 times during the July 5-11 tracking week (+40), “Crystals” ranks as the #49 song on Mediabase’s Hot AC listing. It was #53 on last week’s chart.

U2’s “Song for Someone” also reaches the weekly Top 50. It rises thirteen places to #50 on the strength of its 174 weekly spins (+85).

Like “Song for Someone,” Pitbull’s “Fun (featuring Chris Brown)” and The Rua’s “Fight for What’s Right” were positioned outside of last week’s Top 60. This week, they cross that threshold.

“Fun” rises eight places to #58. It received 92 tracking week spins (+14).

Spun 84 times during the tracking week (+6), “Fight for What’s Right” rises to #59.
