Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” Goes Gold, “Style” 2X Platinum (Updated)

A seventh track from Taylor Swift’s “1989” has officially earned a certification under the RIAA’s Digital Singles program.

Following in the footsteps of official singles “Shake it Off,” “Blank Space,” “Style” and “Bad Blood” and instant gratification cuts “Out of the Woods” and “Welcome to New York,” Taylor Swift’s “1989” album track “Wildest Dreams” has received a gold certification from the RIAA.

Issued June 30, the gold certification confirms a unit total in excess of 500,000. A unit is equivalent to one paid download or 100 streams.

— In addition to scoring the gold certification for “Wildest Dreams,” Swift also earned a new award for her “Style.” The third single from “1989” is now a double-platinum digital single in the United States.

Previous singles “Shake it Off” and “Blank Space” are also multi-platinum. Current single “Bad Blood” is platinum.
