The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” Repeats as Hot AC Radio’s Most Added

Already a Top 30 hit, The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” continues to acquire new support from hot adult contemporary radio programmers.

The latest wave of support allows “Can’t Feel My Face” to retain its most added distinction.

According to Mediabase, The Weeknd’s new single received adds from 19 monitored Hot AC stations this week. That count keeps the song atop the Hot AC add board.

Picked up by 11 monitored stations each, Meghan Trainor’s Top 50 single “Like I’m Gonna Lose You (featuring John Legend)” and OMI’s Top 25 entry “Cheerleader” tie for second-most added.

Trainor also appears on the week’s fourth-most added song. Charlie Puth’s “Marvin Gaye (featuring Meghan Trainor),” that song, won adds from 10 monitored stations. Already a Top 40 song at Hot AC, the latest wave of support will facilitate a continued rise.

Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness’ “Cecilia and the Satellite” and Fall Out Boy’s “Uma Thurman” follow in a tie for fifth-most added. Each won adds from 9 stations.

Other notable Hot AC options: X Ambassadors’ “Renegades” (8 adds, 7th-most added), Adam Lambert’s “Ghost Town” (6 adds, 8th-most added, tie), American Authors’ “Go Big or Go Home” (6 adds, 8th-most added, tie), Sia’s “Elastic Heart” (6 adds, 8th-most added, tie).
