Kenny Chesney’s “Save it for a Rainy Day” Ranks as Country Radio’s Most Added

The forecast is bright for Kenny Chesney’s “Save it for a Rainy Day.”

Picked up by 60 Mediabase-monitored stations in conjunction with this week’s official impact, the veteran’s fourth “The Big Revival” single ranks as country radio’s most added song.

The impressive new wave of support will help “Rainy Day,” which is already #41 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and #50 on the Mediabase country radio singles chart, continue its climb.

If it can climb all the way to the top of the country radio mountain, it will become the fourth straight #1–in four tries–from “The Big Revival.”

A Thousand Horses’ “(This Ain’t No) Drunk Dial” and Dierks Bentley’s “Riser,” which also impacted this week, follow as second- and third-most added, respectively. A Thousand Horses’ new single earned 38 adds, while Bentley’s “Riser” won support from 28 monitored stations.

Florida Georgia Line’s “Anything Goes” follows thanks to its 23 weekly adds, while a weekly total of 18 pickups earns Cam’s “Burning House” fifth-most added.

Other notable options: Lady Antebellum’s “Long Stretch of Love” (17 adds, 6th-most added), Miranda Lambert’s “Smokin’ and Drinkin’ (featuring Little Big Town)” (15 adds, 7th-most added), The Cadillac Three’s “White Lightning” (12 adds, 8th-most added), Old Dominion’s “Break Up with Him” (11 adds, 9th-most added), Cole Swindell’s “Let Me See Ya Girl” (9 adds, 10th-most added, tie), Jake Owen’s “Real Life” (9 adds, 10th-most added, tie).
