Ryn Weaver’s “The Fool” Debuts with 13.8K First Week Album Sales

Roughly a year after her “OctaHate” took the Internet by storm, Ryn Weaver’s debut album “The Fool” finally arrived on June 16, 2015. It debuted with one of the week’s twenty greatest sales totals.

According to Nielsen Music, Weaver’s “The Fool” moved 13,842 copies in its first week of release. It ranks at #18 on the Top Album Sales chart.

Its Billboard 200 position, which will account for Track Equivalent Albums (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and Streaming Equivalent Albums (1500 single streams = 1 album sale) in addition to the aforementioned pure sales total, will emerge Thursday morning.

Weaver’s album follows the new James Taylor, Adam Lambert, Hilary Duff, Nate Ruess and Third Eye Blind records as the week’s #6 new release.
