Disturbed’s “The Vengeful One” is Rock Radio’s Most Added, Beck Scores at Alternative

Bolstered by the iHeartRadio “World Premiere” treatment, Disturbed first single since 2011 arrives as active rock radio’s most added song.

According to Mediabase, Disturbed’s new “The Vengeful One” scored adds from 24 monitored active rock stations. That gives it the narrow edge over Five Finger Death Punch’s “Jekyll and Hyde.”

Last week’s most added song, “Jekyll” ranks as this week’s second-most added on the strength of its 23 pickups.

POD’s “This Goes Out to You” (10 adds, 3rd-most added), The Struts’ “Could Have Been Me” (8 adds, 4th-most added) and Red Sun Rising’s “The Otherside” (7 adds, 5th-most added) also scored this week.

— Beck’s “Dreams,” which received the iHeartRadio launch last week, repeats as alternative radio’s most added this week.

The track won support from an additional 31 monitored stations this week. That count is in a league of its own on the rock radio add board.

Houndmouth’s “Sedona” earns second-most added with 8 adds, while The Struts’ “Could Have Been Me” (7 adds, 3rd-most added), AWOLNATION’s “I Am” (6 adds, 4th-most added), Coleman Hell’s “2 Heads” (5 adds, 5th-most added, tie) and Robert DeLong’s “Don’t Wait Up” (5 adds, 5th-most added, tie) complete the top five.
