Kenny Chesney & Grace Potter’s “Wild Child” Set to Claim #1 at Country Radio

Barring an unexpected Saturday development, Kenny Chesney’s “Wild Child (with Grace Potter)” will claim #1 on Sunday’s edition of the Mediabase country radio singles chart.

The tune, which is the third single from Chesney’s “The Big Revival,” holds a comfortable lead over the rest of the pack.

Not simply the current leader in Mediabase chart points, “The Big Revival” also holds a real-time lead in spins. It received 6,720 spins during the first six days of the June 7-13 tracking week. Kelsea Ballerini’s “Love Me Like You Mean It,” which is tracking as the week’s second-most played song, has thus far received 6,302 spins.

Fellow top five entries include Carrie Underwood’s “Little Toy Guns” (6,031 spins between June 7-12), Florida Georgia Line’s “Sippin’ on Fire” (5,882 spins) and Blake Shelton’s “Sangria” (5,868 spins).

If “Wild Child” indeed scores #1 on Sunday’s official chart, it will be the third straight chart-topper from “The Big Revival.”
