Ratings: CMT Music Awards Viewership Falls This Year

Viewership for the 2015 CMT Music Awards broadcast trailed that of the 2014 show.

The 2015 CMT Awards broadcast, which aired from 8-10:32PM, posted a soft 0.59 adults 18-49 rating with 1.891 million viewers on its home network. A concurrent airing on TV Land added a 0.26 in adults 18-49 and 869,000 total viewers.

CMT’s broadcast of the 2014 awards, which aired on June 4, 2014, drew a stronger 1.1 adults 18-49 rating with 3.025 million viewers.

Like last year, this year’s broadcast featured performances from superstars like Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church and Florida Georgia Line.

2014 performers notably absent from this year’s show included Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.
