The follow-up to Tove Lo’s chart-topping “Habits (Stay High)” officially reaches the #5 spot on this week’s Mediabase pop airplay chart.
The song, which was #7 on last week’s chart, earns its new position on the strength of ~12,289 tracking week spins. That count bests last week’s tally by a whopping 1,731.
Only Taylor Swift’s #10 “Bad Blood” (+2,129) and Maroon 5’s #15 “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt” (+2,070) enjoyed bigger week-over-week gains.
The multi-format hit, which is #15 at hot adult contemporary radio and inside the Top 40 at rhythmic and adult contemporary, is #13 on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.
