Sawyer Fredericks’ “A Thousand Years” Reaches the Billboard Hot 100

“The Voice” winner Sawyer Fredericks once again earns a position on the weekly Billboard Hot 100.

This week’s presence comes in the form of “A Thousand Years.” Fredericks’ take on the Christina Perri song, which earned him a 10x iTunes multiplier bonus during the semifinal round, starts at #94 on the Hot 100.

In conjunction with its Hot 100 appearance, “A Thousand Years” also lands at #23 on the Digital Songs subchart. It trails Chris Young’s “I’m Comin’ Over” (#14) and Nick Fradiani’s “Beautiful Life” (#22) as the week’s third-highest Digital Songs debut.

While “A Thousand Years” is the only “The Voice” song on this week’s Hot 100, two reach the Bubbling Under chart.

Songs on that chart, which lists the top songs that have yet to reach the actual Hot 100, include Fredericks’ “For What it’s Worth” and Meghan Linsey’s “Tennessee Whiskey.”
