Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” Crosses the 500K Sales Mark

Certainly not a blockbuster by Rihanna standards, “Bitch Better Have My Money” has nonetheless crossed a key sales checkpoint.

When the May 11-17 tracking week concluded, its US sales total exceeded 500,000 units.

According to Nielsen Music, “BBHMM” moved 31.8K paid downloads during that tracking week. While down 14% from the previous week’s tally, the weekly sales figure brought the single’s cumulative mark past the half million mark — and to a cumulative total of 514.9K.

Still more than 1.2 million units shy of the total for predecessor “FourFiveSeconds (with Kanye West and Paul McCartney),” the total tops that of Rihanna’s current pop single “American Oxygen” by more than 400,000.

“Oxygen,” which moved 10.3K copies during the May 11-17 tracking week, boasts an official US sales total of 57.1K.

Rihanna performed “BBHMM” and “American Oxygen” during Saturday’s “SNL.”
